And so it begins...........

Greetings, and welcome to the beginning of something truly special(hopefully!). I have opted to create this blog due to a variety of issues that have arisen in my faltering poker career. I am by all accounts, a jolly good player with exceptional mathematical abilities and have a sensory perception which is at times awe inspiring.Unfortunately there are numerous areas in my game which cost me dearly.Indeed,instead of competing amongst the upper echelons of the poker world I am slumming it with the riff raff on the mickey mouse tables and, due to my immense carelessness ,impetuousness and impatience I have too often blown my meager bank roll and instantaneously find myself at the proverbial square one,broksie woksie!

The fundamental issue is, as aforementioned, bank roll-management and game selection, two very simple and essential aspects to the game.Too often have I blown my pitiful bankroll by playing way above what is feasible,I may have lost the majority of the pots with the best hand but this is just not an excuse anymore as if you play above your means you deserve to be outdrawn and I am sick of bleating like a snotty little rotter.Through this blog I aim to eradicate my erroneous ways,hopefully people will comment on various hands that I shall post(win or lose) and suggest any methodologies that I can implement to move my game in a vertically upward direction.

I have drawn up an ingenious plan to haul me up from obscurity to my preferred destination of 10/20$: up until now I would deposit 200-400$ and play 50/1 nl, a perfectly preposterous strategy that is not entirely dissimilar to hitting the roulette wheel. I would generally cash out if I hit 5x my buy in which resulted in static growth and no progression, and due to a beastly patch of variance, in the last few weeks this methodology invariably meant I went busto.

I propose the following to help salvage my fledging career; I shall deposit 400$ on full tilt, on which site I have just inked a 27% rake-back deal,and replenish my obliterated Cake poker account to the tune of 320$.

Instead of fannying about with Nl micro stakes(10/25c) I shall switch to limit which is utterly tedious yet, the swings are less severe and my embarrassing bank-roll shall cope rather better.I feel I really need to learn some discipline and this is a fitting remedy for my impatient and careless characteristics.I shall initiate proceedings by playing 50/1$ fl 1/2 fl and below, with my rebate and a TAG game I should soon build up and move up to where I rightfully belong.

My initial objective? to reach 1010$, with this I can play 25/50 nl and/or 2/4 FL without too much worry,albeit perhaps 1450$ would be a wiser option?

The road ahead shall be perilous and undoubtedly I shall run into obstacles, but with my profound intellect and immense poker ability I am confident of achieving at the very least my first pitiful objective.


P.S my master plan shall not fully come into effect until after this month at the earliest, I hate disappointing people but due to academic commitments, I am occupied with an obscene amount of coursework ! life is beastly sometimes :(
